Open Photo Button: The "Open" photo dialog window appears. Here you can open several photo formats. Use this if you have photos in directories other than the Hair Pro "Photos" folder. Otherwise use the Photo Viewer, clicking the button
.
Save Button: The "Save As" dialog window appears. This gives you the option to save the active window photo and the respective hairstyle, in several photo formats. The "Advanced" button displays and modifies specific parameters of the photo format.
Print Button: Prints just one photo (the active window). In other words, if you have several windows visible on the main screen, the only one that is printed is the one you have currently selected.
Print Preview Button: You can view up to eight hairstyles at the same time so as to make it easier to decide which hairstyle is the best for you. To do this click on the Print Preview Button and the last eight open windows will appear with your currently selected hairstyles as they would if you were to print them now.
Next Hairstyle Button: Enables you to quickly and easily see many hairstyles, one after the other, from the type of hairstyles you have currently selected. In most cases you will not need to make any adjustments to the positioning of the hairstyle but due to the size difference of some of the hairstyles you may need to move and center it slightly to adjust the person to fit the hairstyle.
Normal Size Button: It restores the window and the photo to the standard size of the program. Also the hairstyle currently selected returns to its original size and color.
Original Size Button: It restores the window and the photo to the original size of the photo.
Twain Acquire Button: Click it to capture a photo with your digital camera or scanner Twain compliant. NOTE: Before you start capturing photos you must select your Twain device, by clicking the Menu option "Image > Select Twain Source".
Move/Resize Button: When clicking a hairstyle or photo, you will notice the image is surrounded by eight red grabbers. Move your mouse cursor to any red grabber. When your cursor is in the proper location it will change to a small set of black double arrows. Now click and hold the left mouse button and drag the red grabber inward or outward to achieve the desired size in the hairstyle or photo. You may do this as many times as you wish to achieve the results you require. To move the hairstyle just drag your mouse while it's over it. When you are finished adjusting the hairstyle or photo, press ESC to get rid off it. Maximize the window to better move and resize the photo.
Pencil Button: You can draw and retouch using the mouse, simulating that you're cutting the hairstyle. First choose the white color by clicking the Color Panel's Color Mix button (or clicking the right mouse button over the hairstyle), then choose a pencil width (clicking the Color Panel's Line Width drop-down list). For best results we recommend that you use white to paint the background of the photo.
Make-Up Button: This button works in conjunction with the Make-Up Intensity Slider and the Line Width drop-down list. Use it to simulate make-up on the person's face. Choose a color by clicking one of the color buttons or pick a color by clicking the Gradient Box. Then click and move your mouse over the photo to apply make-up.
Lasso Select Button: You have the ability to actually change the color of the person's own hairstyle without having to first fit them with one of the program's hairstyles. You can also change the eye color, by selecting an eye, by dragging the mouse around it. Then hold the Shift key to select the other eye.
Rectangle Select Button: Use it in conjunction with the Crop Button. First select the rectangle portion of the photo you want to crop, by clicking this button and dragging your mouse over the photo.
Crop Button: After you have selected the rectangle, click this button to crop the photo. Use the crop button to reduce the photo size so that the photo becomes the same size as the Mold photo.
Photo Viewer Button: When you click this button the Photo Viewer tab appears.
Hairstyles Viewer Button: When you click this button the Hairstyles Viewer tab appears.
Color Panel Button: When you click this button the Color Panel Viewer tab appears.
Gallery Viewer Button: When you click this button the Gallery Viewer tab appears. This button saves the selected hairstyle and currently active photo in the Gallery tab.
Hide/Show Tabs Button: Hides or shows all the tabs at the right of the main screen.
See 21 Hairstyles Button: This resource gives you a view of all the same hairstyles available. First adjust a hairstyle and then you'll see 21 hairstyles per page.
Styles Creator Button: It launches the Styles Creator Wizard program. To use it just press the Next button and follow all the instructions. This program will create and add your own hairstyles to Hair Pro, by editing hairstyle models that you may have in magazines or photos.
Web Update Button: Click this button to check about updates on the Hair Pro website. When an update is available you'll be prompted to download the update and it will be installed automatically.
Exit Button: Closes the program.
Delete Photo(s) Button: You can select one or more photos to delete, by just holding and dragging the mouse over the photo(s).
Maximize Button: You can maximize the tabs to see larger thumbnails of photos and hairstyles. Clicking the same button again will bring the tabs to its normal size and position.
Delete Gallery Button: You can select one or more gallery photos to delete, by just holding and dragging the mouse over the photo(s).
Styles Buttons: Click one of these buttons to select a Styles Collection among the Styles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the User Styles (created by yourself).
Hairstyles Buttons: Click one of these buttons to select a Hairstyle Type among Short (Light or Dark), Medium (Light or Dark), Long (Light or Dark) and hairstyles for men.
Update Color Button: After you have changed the color of a hairstyle, you can update it by clicking on this button. After it's updated you can reapply all other slider parameters like RGB colors, Contrast, Saturation, Lightness and Sharpness.
Hide Selection Button: After you have selected the person's hairstyle with the Lasso Select Button, you can hide or show the selection with this button.
Undo Button: It undoes the last color change that you may have applied in the Color Panel.
Color Mix Button: Every color that you choose in the Color Panel automatically appears on the Color Mix Button. If you choose a color with the eyedropper or looking through the drop-down list, click on this button to mix the colors. It works in conjunction with the "Color Mix Percentage Slider". The greater value chosen the greater the color mix result.
Color Mix Percentage Slider: The default value is 25. This indicates the percentage of color to be mixed with the hairstyle or photo.
Line Width Drop-Down List: Choose one line width to apply make-up, draw or retouch (Smudge, Blur and Duplicate).
Tint Hair Button: This is similar to the Color Mix Button, but applies more color.
Make-Up Intensity Slider: The default value is 5. This indicates the intensity of color used when applying make-up with the Make-Up Button. The maximum value is 10.
